Delete Account & Data Policy

We provide straightforward options for deleting your account. You can request deletion using either of the following methods:

Option A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

You can instantly trigger account deletion directly from your settings dashboard:

• Sign in to your account at app.makerhub.tech.
• Navigate to Settings from the sidebar navigation.
• Under the Profile tab, scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
• Click Delete Account, type 'delete my account' in the confirmation box, and confirm.

Option B: Email Request

If you cannot log in or prefer to request deletion via support, please email us at support@makerhub.tech from your registered email address with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.

Upon confirming account deletion, we initiate a process to wipe your personal information from our active databases:

• Your full name, display name, and avatar/profile image.
• Your registered email address (allowing it to be reused for future signups if you decide to return).
• Linked third-party social credentials (e.g., Google OAuth connection settings).
• Active login sessions, browser tokens, and diagnostic push device tokens.
• Two-factor authentication setup keys and backup codes.

7-Day Restoration Window

To protect users from accidental account deletion, we retain database backups for a period of **7 days**. If you change your mind, you can contact our support team within this 7-day period to completely restore your account, settings, and progress. After 7 days, the backup records are purged and recovery is no longer possible.

Anonymized Performance Analytics

To maintain the integrity and accuracy of our global practice statistics and cohort learning curves, your historical study attempts, quiz scores, and practice questions attempted are disassociated from your identity and retained in a fully anonymized format. This analytical data does not contain any personal details and cannot be linked back to you.
